Hi, I’m Lani Rosengren, your new Pal!

I began my venture into private nannying in 2022 after working in childcare for over 5 years. While I absolutely loved my role as a childcare provider, I felt I had more to offer the individual child than possible in a busy childcare setting. The attentive one-on-one and small group care that is possible as a private nanny spoke to me, as it better enables provision of personalised care based on individual needs.

Each week, Lani would make and freeze recipes for Azalea, which was a big help to us - healthy muffins, banana bread, meatballs etc. It was evident that Lani genuinely cared for our daughter and took the time to understand her needs and interests. Azalea developed a strong bond with Lani, and she’ll no doubt miss her very much, as will we!"

  • "We had the pleasure and help from Lani as our family Nanny for over a year. I was working from home in sleep windows but as my daughter got a little older and more active and social I was wanting to work longer periods uninterrupted but wasn’t ready for a family day care yet. Lani was the perfect solution for our family. She came highly recommended by our network with her experiences and qualifications - and Stevie loved her. We had her for a year - between Stevie turning 1 and 2 she would come to our house a couple of days a week for 3 hour stints. Stevie looked forward to Lani visiting, playing games and taking her out for adventures at parks, the creek and the wild life sanctuary. These are still fond memories Stevie speaks of often and we reccomend Lani to all our friends. As Stevie got older and more social we started incorporating share dates with other kids that Lani looked after until only recently we enrolled her in a family day care because she loves the social aspect now she’s a little older. We love Lani & have kept in contact and on our books if we ever need her as she is now a trusted and safe person for our daughter which we appreciate even more so that we don’t have family around to help."

Her assistance has been invaluable, having her look after our daughter has been such a huge help. Our daughter loves having Lani with her and it is comforting know that she is cared for the same way we do for her. They go on walks and have lots of outside play which we love and value highly. Lani has also shown a lot of resilience helping out whilst our daughter was quite sick and doing what needed to be done. Lani is very proactive and efficient making sure our home is tidied up and shows the initiative to do extra tasks when our daughter naps. It really is like having a fairy god mother around.”
